should i commute to college next semester (winter/spring)?

Rubye Bonnin: I would love your commute. 20-25 minutes is really nice. I would do that if I were you, but it really depends on the person.Do you have complete freedom in your house? stay up as late as you need?Do you have any extra chores or work to do at home?I commute and I don't have to do anything at home and can do what I need to. However, I live 65 minutes away, and go to school 5 days a week for engineering based classes. After 3 semesters, I am hoping to dorm next semester because driving 2 hours a day is really tiring after a few months. For some reason, girls usually have a harder time living with other girls than guys have with each other....Show more

Shaquita Wernicki: This 25 minute commute does this include the time looking for your keys. The detour for road work and an accident finding a parking space getting from your car to class? How much study time to you loose at home dealing with family for this or that. Need to add time for coming back to campus! to use library and so on. Those stops to buy gas and days your car go for servicing also costly. Do not make a quick decision there are advantages to being on campus and there are advantages to being at home. Make a chart and list them and start giving them a value in time and a dollar value(not cost). Then your decision is easy as you have looked at the whole package and not just a few items.Make a clear decision and you do the best you can. Good luck in your studies....Show more
