My car is making a popping sound that comes from the front end for a week.?

Matt Tiry: for one you did not say what year and kind of car you haveI would say maybe you front brake rotors ore out of round, and they are making the calipers move back and forthand sometimes the distance between them are less ..makes noise...distance more...no noisehave them checked at a place you trustto see if the are out of roundif notthen go to someone you do not know...JUST to see what they say...and do NOT tell them you had it checked out before...but also..do not just have them fix what they say is wrong...say you have to think about it and go to the guy you trust and try to ask him to look at this because a friend said it may be that.do not tell him you went to someone else..either way, be careful when drivinggood lucksmile...Show more

Jarrod Darnall: My car is a 2007 Dodge Caliber.I had the tires rotated and checked for proper alignment (it was fine) yesterday as well as the rotars. Afterward these changes the car still made the sound. ;)

Felicitas! Phildor: Check your tire pressure.
