Emile Okafor: Less than 3% of all cars on the market would qualify for "exceptional", and no car with 60K would even come close. A nearly-new vehicle with maybe 3-5K miles on it "might" qualify. However, as mentioned above, if you sell it outright privately, this usually will make a difference in the selling price....Show more
Ismael Sixon: First, in order for your car to be "exceptional" it must be flawless. No scratches, shiny paint, perfect interior with no stains ANYWHERE, like new rubber (tires), no odd noises etc etc etc.Next, a private buyer will appreciate dealer receipts, as it's more likely ALL needed services were performed, rather than JUST oil changes.AVOID trading it in if you can. They will NOT give you anywhere near what it's worth, as they ! have to resell it at a hefty profit.A private buyer is not interested (usually) in reselling for a profit, unless he STOLE the car at a rock bottom price and KNOWS he can double his money in a week. (like dealers)...Show more
Rubi Romo: I have been in the car business for over 12-years and the real truth is no dealer will give you a dime more then they can go buy that same car for at the auction. On the other hand if your selling it to a private buyer your records will make a difference. How much is impossible to say.Good luck....Show more
