on my desktop i restored my pc to a later date but it had a error and i chose another date now my pc wont load?

Tana Dumoulin: In XP OSs..if your PC has a ISSUE..it may not be repaired by System Restore..BUT..you should be able to SAVE YOUR FILES..for a OS..Re-Install..If your PC..has a Virus..and you Choose System Restore..you may cause a mal-function in the OS..its best to RUN..your Virus SCAN(first)..===I have never really had succes with my XP,,,System Restore Point/I will choose to re-Install the OS..My Vista OS..seems to be much better..utilizing System Restore Point/I suggest useing an Archive Drive..should you figure you may need System Restore Point/===I have found this Function is really a SAFETY--should you need to get to MY DOCUMENTS..in a CRASH..//that after System Restore is used..its best to re-install the OS..I don't use System Restore to keep operating my PC..I use it to SAVE MY FILES....Show more
