Basil Blasingame: you cannot play in the rest of the game any time a player get four penaltys he can no longer play in tht game if he gets five he cant play in the rest of that game and cant play the teams next game
Russel Gajate: The rule reference for the 2+10 option for checking from behind is 607(a), Page 173 of the rulebook/casebook. I don't totally understand what you are asking regarding the two checking from behind calls, but it is possible for a player to be assessed two minor plus misconducts for this infraction in the same game or even on the same play.Fudge: USA Hockey does not have any rules regarding the 4th penalty in a game, however your individual league may. Zulema Baccam: OK I don't know if you mean international and what their rules are, but you can play if you get a st! andard misconduct in the NHL. That is why there is a GAME Misconduct as well. I believe you'd serve the 2 concurrent, meaning in the end you are in the box for 10 minutes. I know Ruutu got a misconduct today so the Penguins had to have someone else in the penalty box for 2 minutes to serve the other penalty, since he was serving the misconduct. So based on that I'd say you'd only get the 10 minutes, otherwise they'd have him serve the 2 and THEN the power-play would be over and it would be the 10 minutes.
