Is wildlife conservation a good job?

Sheldon Lally: Get Paid From Surveys : http://OnlineSurveys.uzaev.com/?ANkV

Abraham Ladick: Is the Wildlife Conservation Society a good place to work?

Dana Russian: Try volunteering for a local environmental organization to get a taste of that kind of job.

Horace Escue: Its good job because people can see new things everyday. They can save wildlife and get much income also. they can also get fame

Ardelia Liptow: Imo, you shouldn't do it for the money or for the travel but for genuinely wanting to help the planet directly - i.e. make a positive use of your life. What you will do will depend on who you are "working for" (technically you are working for nature), your skills, experience, abilities etc.

Clement Viscarro: idk but thatd be cool !

Clay Lipira: Pay really vaires depending who you work for. I work for a non-profit mostly studying and working with endangered species (mainly birds). I get paid pretty decently. I used to travel ex! tensively, but now I have settled down to a full time permanent position so I travel less than when I first got started in this business. I still travel quite a bit locally. Yes, I get to be in contact with/handle birds, bats, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. I come in contact with larger mammals such as coyotes, bobcats, bears, wild pigs, etc. while out working. Have yet to see a mountain lion though, although I work were they can be present. I have worked seasonally for the Wildlife Conservation Society in the past..studied birds up in the Alaskan arctic for them. They seemed like a good organization to work for. You can probably work seasonally for them pretty easily, but permanent positions are sometimes hard to come by without lots of hands on experience. I suggest volunteering, doing internships, and seasonal work to get your skills up....Show more

Lenard Ginyard: Conservation is the duty of all the human beings. So the job in the wildlife conserv! ation area is of great importance.I propose all the Government! s to impose compulsory conservation training (like the compulsory military training in some countries) to every citizen to spend at least six months.Wildlife conservation is certainly a good job.Good luck....Show more

Hunter Osterberger: 2

Mark Hovanes: If you are passionate about wildlife and the countryside then that answers your question but as for pay e t c --no idea but it would be such a shame if you have to turn down your dream due to financial reasons ---unfortunately the caring jobs are notoriously poorly paid.
