Joni Ziak: I never cared about drama, I just studied. My answer is College, since that's been my favorite, i've experienced regular school, private school, and home school, and College.
Noah Deni: Home schooled definitely. I could handle staying home everyday. I can do whatever I want, eat whenever I want, do my work whenever I want. Sounds like heaven. I could care less if I don't get to see my friends...
Vince Delarge: I'm home schooled, and it's great. You finish your work within 1-2 hours, and you have the rest of the day to yourself. You don't have all of those useless electives that waste 4 hours a day.
Imogene Neiswander: An option is doing homeschool and just sending your kids to either an extra curricular activity or a church youth type thing. That way, they could learn and have friends (: Im in high school right now and I've been on a public school my whole life. I don't think its bad at all. Yeah, there is peer pressure, decisions to make, and! bad kids that bring drugs into school and kids who bully. But you can't just shelter your kids. I think it would be better to go to public school because it could teach important lessons and also gets kids ready for the REAL world. I think its all about a person's personality and how they handle situations. As long as the person makes good choices, they're fine. Let your [future] child 'live' . I hope I helped (:...Show more
Samatha Nicar: I've done both. There upsides and downsides to both.Home-schooling can be good and bad. It's really boring and you don't always have much of a social life. Lol. But you can get ahead in your grades as easily (if not easier) than you can get behind in your grades. It all matters on your dedication and seriousness on it.Public schools suck. Period. Private schools are a lot better. I prefer private a lot more. Your social life is a lot better and it's easier to concentrate on school....Show more
Emerita Sciandra: im home-school! ed, and i miss school. but it has its good and bad things. i m! iss my friends that i had at school, but i dont have to wake up at 6:30 anymore. its easier to do cause theres no distractions. and you can eat all day.
Maynard Reevers: I am home schooled and it's better in my opinion cause I don't get the crap at home like I did in school. And I can work at my own speed and a lot less stress. But it does get lonely of course but I'd rather be lonely then suicidal again.
Marcia Cheathan: I was home-schooled and I loved. I should be in my senior right now but I graduated early and it's so much better. Plus I got to take music lessons which I wouldn't have been able to do in regular school
Reginald Maxi: school, its where you learn how to socialize and interact with other people...
Leann Villalta: School. I couldn't bare being in my house 24/7.
Alexandria Popik: Dear,In reply to this question, School or home-schooled? , I can tell you that take a look at this site http://homeschoolingfaqs.com it might help youAs s! omeone asked; "Okay basicly i really hate school and all the people in mine because i live in a really 'rich' area as some people call it so all the kids are all really stuck up and confident unfortunately. I have really hated school since i started high school (i live in the U.K). I am in year 9 and have just chosen my GCSES :( I have some friends but sometimes i just feel like i have nothing in common with them. They are all really clever etc.. i used to get bullied and i still get picked on sometimes and i feel so depressed and cant concentrate at school. There's lots of popular groups of pretty girls and it just makes me sick because of how they can not pay the slightest bit of attention in all the lessons and still get like an A* in EVERYTHING !!! I am really not that clever to be honest and it doesn't help that i cant concentrate. My mum works as a teaching assistant at my school but doesn't know about how i feel about home schooling and will probably say no :'( i reall! y don't want to go to school because of the people mainly the girls jus! t being right COWS !! One of my friends feels the same kind of way as me but cant tell her mum how she feels either, but she is REALLYYY clever ,lucky for her , lol !!! I always get in arguments with my mates and its IMPOSSIBLE to make friends with new people because of all the friendship groups and i'm actually shy in lessons and to other people so that is something else people can pick on.ARGGHH i know its not a good time to start homeschooling and my parents would have to pay for a tutor :O so im not sure . is there any other things i can do about this other than telling teachers about bulling becuase ive done that lots of times and to be honest it will nvr stop ! Also dont tel me to ask my parents to move schools coz that's not really an option for me ! i really dont know what to do about this so , any suggestions ?????? thanks :) x (p.s please dnt tell me to just ignore the people , enjoy school coz its the best time of ur life etc and i do find school work really hard! by the way , i try my best etc...) The thing is it probably wouldnt be" it may help you and them.Best of Luck :)...Show more
Arlen Hamper: School, definitely. I may hate the homework, but if my mother and I were stuck together all the time, one of us wouldn't come out alive.
Cordia Fivecoat: Home-schooled. Public school isn't so much school as it is a hell house where people think it's a good idea to force kids who are completely different and hate each other to spend every day together. Home-schooling is at the students pace and he/she can actually concentrate on learning.
