What are some jobs on an Aircraft carrier?

Maynard Phoubandith: You will travel a lot no matter which branch you join. I was at 10 bases over half the world in 4 yrs in the AF, 3 of those were TDYs I volunteered for. My job was avionics repair.

Peggy Sandefer: The United States Marine Corps has a Ship's Company stationed on aircraft carriers. They also were stationed on Battleships but we no longer have any of those. These are regular Marines trained to provide security against all threats against the ship.When the ship is carrying "specials" in the weapons storage the Marines guard them.

Perry Deshazior: The marines on ships are usually FMF (fleet marine force) or MEU's (Marine expeditionary units.) If you want to do a similar job you could be a Seabee (CB). Naval construction battalion, who work on all the vehicles like tanks, also deploy and learn combat training. Im in the aviation side of the Navy, and I love it!
